Nova Scotia Health Authority is now warning of more side effects from the AZ covid19 vaccine. These 911-call worthy side effects appear 2-4 weeks after the shot. (of course they bury this information in the #fineprint#strang#NS#healthcanada#COVID19. The AstraZeneca vaccine has been linked to vaccine-induced immune #thrombotic#thrombocytopenia (#VITT). Symptoms are most likely to occur between days 14 and 28 later.
Anyone who experiences symptoms after receiving AstraZeneca vaccine should get medical help right away or call #911 and say they have received the vaccine. Symptoms include:
- shortness of breath
- chest pain
- stomach pain that will not go away
- leg swelling
- sudden and severe headache
- headache that will not go away and is getting worse
- blurred vision
- skin bruising (other than the area vaccinated), reddish or purplish spots or blood blisters under the skin
